How to update your domain contact details

In order to update registrant, admin, technical & billing contact details for your domain, please do the following:

  1. Open up WebEngin at http://www.webengin.com.au/
  2. Click on the ‘My Account’ link on the top-left hand corner of the screen
  3. Log into the Console with your Account Reference and Password
  4. In the ‘Domain’ column of the ‘Overview’ table, click on the domain you wish to edit
  5. Click on the ‘Domain Name’ link
  6. At this point, check the ‘Lock Your Domain’ section. In order to edit details and perform updates, you must click the ‘unlock’ button.
  7. Now scroll down to the ‘Contact information’ section. In that table, find the contact you wish to edit and click the blue ‘Modify’ link on the right-hand side.
  8. Edit your details as required
  9. Save
  10. Remember under ‘Lock Your Domain’ section, you must click the ‘lock’ button to ensure that your domain is safely protected.

Often people have issues setting up email access on their phones and Outlooks. If you don’t understand how to apply the settings, this does happen, please give us a call and we can assist you in the setup stage under prepaid support.

Please note all email clients are different in their menu and workings however are based on the same protocols.  To setup IMAP follow these settings (Works for all email clients, Outlook, MacMail, Thunderbird, Iphone, Android).

Your specific incoming/outgoing server details can be found by going to cPanel, clicking on ‘Email Accounts’ under ‘Mail’, selecting the ‘More’ dropdown menu for the desired account, and then clicking ‘Configure Email Client’. They appear under ‘Manual Settings’.
