Often people have issues setting up email access on their phones and Outlooks. If you don’t understand how to apply the settings, this does happen, please give us a call and we can assist you in the setup stage under prepaid support.

Please note all email clients are different in their menu and workings however are based on the same protocols.  To setup IMAP follow these settings (Works for all email clients, Outlook, MacMail, Thunderbird, Iphone, Android).

Your specific incoming/outgoing server details can be found by going to cPanel, clicking on ‘Email Accounts’ under ‘Mail’, selecting the ‘More’ dropdown menu for the desired account, and then clicking ‘Configure Email Client’. They appear under ‘Manual Settings’.

Standard Settings (Non SSL)


Incoming Mail Server: IMAP



Incoming Server: mail.domain.com.au Port: 143

This server requires a secure connection (SSL): No

Log on using: Clear text authentication

Login ID: name@domain.com.au



Outgoing Mail Server: On

Outgoing server: mail.domain.com.au Port: 25

This server requires a secure connection (SSL): No

My outgoing server requires authentication: No
